Eighth International Conference on Petloss and Bereavement
and Workshop in Petloss and Bereavement Counseling
at Bally’s in Atlantic City
October 19 – 21, 2016
This unique and important conference is designed to serve two distinct groups: pet lovers who are deeply concerned with petloss, and the professionals who serve them and their beloved animals. That includes bereavement counselors, shelter personnel, and others who deal with pets. Please note that this year additional special programs have been added, in a new and expanded outreach to better serve veterinarians and their staffs.
In the morning plenary sessions, during the first 1½ hours, we will have thought-provoking discussions on a few select subjects of high interests to everyone present. There will be impressive panels of renowned authorities joining in with the rest of us, and adding their expert ideas and opinions. Everyone will be a valued participant. This open dialog is something new at our conferences, and you will like it.
Also, on Wednesday, October 18, 2016 we will again be giving our highly acclaimed in-person 10-hour Workshop for pet bereavement counselors. The special APLB Certificate of Training, as well as 18 CE credits will be awarded to those successfully completing the training, and attending the conference. This class will be continued in the first two presentations the next day.
The Bally’s Hotel has set up a special room reservation page. We have already reserved a large block of rooms, at a very reduced price. This will be opened in June. But you may phone Bally’s before then to get our special room prices.
