Beehive Counseling & Wellness

Hello, and welcome! I’m Emily, and I’m a therapist and Veterinary Social Worker located in Connecticut. I work for the group practice Beehive Counseling & Wellness, and offer both telehealth and in-person services at our office in Manchester to clients located in Connecticut.

Supporting pet families with anticipatory grief and pet-related grief and bereavement is an honor. I am a former Veterinary Technician with 15+ years of experience in the veterinary field, and it has always been meaningful to me to be one person who could make the worst day of someone’s life just a little bit easier (it’s a large part of the reason I became a Veterinary Social Worker). I lost my own “heart cat,” Rowland (that’s him in my photos), and grief was and is a constant part of my life. You’re not alone, and you deserve support.

I offer individual pet loss counseling, and also meet with couples and families navigate pet loss. Some folks meet with me for pet loss-focused counseling while remaining with their current therapist. At this time, my licensure only permits me to meet with clients in Connecticut, but that will be expanding soon!

I look forward to supporting you through your grief journey. We heal together.
