Woodland Grief Counseling

Hi everyone!

I am a Certified NJ Social Worker, Certified Grief Counselor, and a Certified Pet Loss Grief Support Specialist. I residen in Sussex County NJ but cover counseling nationally through virtual platforms like Zoom and Microsoft TEAMS.

I have been a NJ social worker for over twenty years and an administrator for seven years. I recently lost my first rescued dog (Casper) in January 2025 which broke my heart and prompted me on a journey to help other through the grieving journey. I am a born empath and have been advocating for humans and animals since I was in elementary school.

PLEASE NOTE: I am not a clinical therapist and I am not licensed to diagnose/treat. Should your grief become more prevelant and unmanageable that requires you to consult a therapist, I can assist with helping in that process. I am certified to provide one on one counseling to individuals and in group settings for those struggling through the grieving process.

DEAF/HARD OF HEARING Individuals- I am able to communicate in ASL (American Sign Language).
