Grief Coaching with Nicole

Nicole Collins is a certified grief coach who supports people navigating the loss of beloved animal companions, partners, family members, and other life-altering losses. She understands how profound the bond with an animal can be—and how painful it can feel when that loss isn’t always fully recognized or understood by others.

Nicole’s work is deeply personal. In a few short years she experienced multiple losses, including the death of her partner to brain cancer, the loss of her dog Assi, and the passing of her mother. Moving through these experiences while continuing to work in a demanding leadership role gave her firsthand insight into what it means to carry grief while life continues around you.

Today, Nicole creates a warm, compassionate space where people can speak openly about their grief without pressure to “move on” or minimize their pain. She believes grief is a reflection of love, and that the relationship we have with our animals deserves to be honored with the same care and understanding as any other meaningful bond.

Nicole is certified through the Institute of Professional Grief Coaching (IOPGC), a certified sound healer through Solshine Wellness, and holds a certification in trauma-informed leadership from the University of North Florida. Her approach is gentle, grounded, and paced entirely to the individual.

Based in Salem, Massachusetts, Nicole offers virtual and in-person one-on-one grief coaching as well as group support sessions.
