Addy was born in Louisiana. When we met I was going through a terrible breakup and she kept me going with her love. We moved to NYC when she was around 3, and then to the Poconos when she was around 6. She loved being outdoors, whether in City parks or on countless hiking through the woods in the mountains or just sitting on our deck. She leapt over multiple waterfalls, slept out under the stars, escaped a rattlesnake unharmed, visited many states, and was the sweetest girl. She saw me at my worst and loved me anyway, making me a better person every day. She was an amazing companion. Everyone who met her loved her, and she loved everyone. She is sorely missed, and I’ll never forget her or the adventures we went on together.
Addy was my anchor. I was so lucky to share life with her for 11.5 years, and we had many adventures together, but it’s been (expectedly) very hard dealing with her passing. I’ll never forget her.
