BARKLEY, THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FRIEND I HAVE EVER HAD.  HE CAME INTO OUR LIVES AT ABOUT 10 WEEKS OLD FROM COLORADO PUPPY RESCUE, AURORA, CO.  HE HAD A PERFECT HEART ON HIS LEFT EAR IN BLACK OVER WHITE.

HE WAS A LIITLE BIT SICKLY FOR A FEW DAYS, BUT SNAPPED OUT OF IT.  CAME FROM A LITTER OF 8 FROM

FARMINGTON, N.M. HE GREW TO BE A LARGE BLUE HEELER MIX TO 80#S.  HE WAS A JOY AND DELIGHT TO ALL.

VERY SMART, ALERT, AND A JOY TO BE WITH ALL THE TIME.  HE MOVED WITH US FROM AURORA TO DURANGO,

WHERE HE ACQUIRED A NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR PUPPY – A GOLDEN DOODLE  – DUTCH.  THEY BOTH TOOK TO

EACH OTHER IMMEDIATELY AND WOULD PLAY FOR HOURS.  DUTCH GREW UP AND BECAME ABOUT THE SAME

SIZE WHICH MADE IT EVEN MORE FUN TO PLAY.  HE LOVED TO RUN WITH MY ELECTRIC BIKE AND WHEN HE HEARD

THE MOTOR WIND UP HE SEEMED TO REACH ABOUT 20 MPH WITH HIS LONG LEGS.  AFTER NIPPING A NEIGHBOR

BOY, IT WAS SAID BY TWO VETS HE WOULD STRIKE AGAIN.  OUT OF FEAR AND CONCERN WE PUT HIM DOWN.

I REGRET TO THIS DAY FOR THAT HAPPENING.  HE WAS NEVER THAT KIND OF A DOG. THE NEIGHBOR SAID, DON’T

PUT HIM DOWN…….BUT.  I MISS HIM DAILY AND SHED TEARS OFTEN.   I AM STILL TRYING TO FORGIVE MYSELF

OH BARKLEY, HOW I LOVE YOU AND I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AGAIN IN THE NEW HEAVEN.
