Bio
Brandon was my beloved Standard Schnauzer. I got him as a puppy and we bonded so fast and strong. He was truly my heart dog. He was all black and I loved him so much. He lived his life with myself and his beloved companion Lacey another black standard schnauzer.
He loved to fetch his red ball, walks in the park and scent work. He loved his treats and I would often call ‘treat treat’ and he would come running! He loved to ride in the car with me and some of my fondest memories of him are when he would lay his head on the car console on my right side. He loved being close to me and I loved his presence so much! He was my constant companion for 11 and a half years. He was with me when my husband passed. His passing has affected me so deeply. Im having a very difficult time dealing with the loss of my beloved Brandon. Lacey is lost without him.
I will always love him and miss him. I have his picture on my kitchen counter, on my bedroom night stand and in my den. Im trying to move on but its extremely hard for me. My life is just not the same without him.
Unfortunately he had a lot of medical issues. He suffered from elbow dysplsia as a young dog and had surgery. He improved a lot but developed issues with poor blood flow to his toenails and lost all nails on his left front foot except one. He later developed cancer in his left front foot and lost a toe pad. As a result his gait was off and he developed arthritis in his back and hind quarter weakness.
His death was a result of a brain tumor. I was with him when he left this world and was able to give him one of his favorite things treats!
He passed peacefully. The hardest thing is to let them go but sometimes its the greatest gift we can give them.
I love you Brandon.
