Bio

Buddy was my beautiful and charming mini poodle. He was my parents baby until he was about to turn 5 yrs old and they entrusted me to become his Mommy. I was with them when we took him home for the 1st time and I took him back to my parents in NJ almost every weekend after I was bestowed the greatest gift from my parents of becoming his Mommy.

He changed my life and me as a person, all for the better. Buddy was always very happy yet very calm and I could take him anywhere! He adjusted to his new home with me in NYC and thrived in all the huge dog parks. Our favorite thing together was Central Park, where he ran up and down the fountain stairs, they let the dogs run around the cafe and we would go off leash from 7am to 9 am. He was wickedly smart, charming and very handsome. In later years we moved back to New Jersey and he made so many new friends, went on hikes, loved long walks, new dog parks, but above all he just loved being with me. I used to call him my little cowboy! I took him everywhere and I never took a vacation without him. In all the years we were together we only spend 2 nights apart, until he was hospitalized this year for 4 days. He used to run up and down the hallways so fast, even at 17 years old and I still could not catch him.

My little Prince had eight (8) beds just in the living room, where I eventually slept with him as he was getting older. He bed hopped, stretched, played, snacked in all his beds….they were his own little amusement park! As much as he loved his long walks and going everywhere with me, he loved coming home! He always walked so proudly into his home with such joy and pride wagging his tail! One of the greatest day of my life was his 15th Birthday Party. Buddy was my greatest joy and my biggest blessing and I will cherish him through eternity.

Epitaph

My Dearest Buddy,

Thank you for all your unconditional love that you gave me. You were and will always be both my Heart Dog and Sould Dog. You were my anchor and you gave my life a whole new meaning and purpose with your deep and devoted love. You inspired me each and every day we drew breathe together. I am so proud of you my dear Buddy. You were very brave and you will continue to inspire me each and every day.

I hope you are running up and down valleys and hills my little man, where you are so strong and fast and nobody can catch you! I am so grateful for all the years, days, hours, minutes and seconds I got to be with you!. Being your Mother has been my greatest Blessing and has given me more Joy that I ever thought possible. Thank you for being the “constant light in my life” and I love you and will miss you endlessly. Our hearts are one…forever and ever.

Bless you my sweet boy.
With all my love Mommy.
