Bio

Emmy passed away 2025-12-03 at barely the age of 4.  The cause was congestive heart failure.  It was sudden and unexpected.  We had no idea she had this condition.  Shen seemed in good health up until the day before.  She was such a sweet, even-tempered soul.  She was fun-loving and playful.  She wagged her tail like a dog, and ran around the house, galloping like a horse (On the wooden floors it sounded like horse).  When strangers came to the house she was a little apprehensive at first, but also curious and usually would eventually approach them.  Everyone commented how sweet she was.

She’d often follow me around the house.  I work at home and she usually spent most of the day hanging around in the office, lying on the floor or on my desk.  When I exercised in the kitchen, she’d try to get my attention.   She was usually close by.

For almost 2 1/2 years she had been of my family, and a big part.  She was much more than just a cat.  She was my little pal.  My little “squirt.”  I lost my best friend.
