Hollee was born January 4th 2012.
Hollee was a White Shepherd mix who was deeply loved and is now terribly missed by both her human Daddy & Mama.
Hollee was a canine clown and always made us smile.
Typical shepherd, Hollee was always guarding her house and home alerting us to every intruder into the yard and neighborhood, ie: squirrels, rabbits, stranger dogs, US mail carriers, Meals on Wheels across the street, FedEx and Amazon delivery trucks, low-flying helicopters over the house and last but not least the ever-dreaded Mister Softie Ice Cream truck with its annoying jingle.
Hollee was always the best companion dog who ministered to each of our needs in very different ways…she had a deep and natural apptitude to know how to touch each of our hearts each at just the right time and moment.
In the summer of 2020 our beloved Hollee, at 8 and a half years old, lost her sight to SARDS…it was a challenge we never expected but Hollee being the brave shepherd that she was met the ordeal headon and lived out the rest of her life (to 11years and 8months) continuing on as the happy girl we always knew her to be.
We finally had to see Hollee off to the Rainbow Bridge September 11, 2023.
We will always be grateful that Hollee was in our lives and she will always be lovingly remembered by both her Dad and Mama.
For her part, Hollee’s human mama will always cherish the part Hollee, blinded by SARDS, played in stretching her own human bounds for the better. In caring for Hollee’s special needs 24/7 after she became blind, her mama discovered how it took the circumstances of considering Hollee’s emotional wellbeing first to help Hollee adapt during her time of blindness…thus making Hollee’s mama a more compassionate human being towards others from hereon forward.
God bless our Hollee in heaven for the blessings she and her legacy have bestowed upon her human family. May she forever R.I.P.
