Learning what stairs were, learning to swim, cuddling in bed with his paws in the air like he just don’t care. Playing with Shay. Doing Jax drive by for pets. Staring at you intently until you figured out what he wanted.
Jax was a 91/2 year old German Shepherd I rescued at 14 months old from the animal shelter. He literally picked me. He was a beautiful dog, with a beautiful soul. Curious, smart and funny. He had a friend in out other German Shepherd Shay and loved each other deeply. He would follow us everywhere and let you know with little huffs if he wanted something. Loved playing with balls and cobbing on his pack mates fur. He is leaving a vast hole in my heart.
Jax my baby boy. I was excited when you picked me that day at the shelter. You had such a beautiful soul. Forever a puppy. You brought joy and laughter and unconditional love. To my lost campanion who will stay with me long after the walks are done. I love you with all my heart and soul.
