All of my memories of Kaley were so amazing.   My favorite times with her was Christmas cause she so loved opening her presents and I’m glad I have videos of her doing so.    It truly brought her so much joy.

Bio

Kaley was 16 years old at the time of her passing.    About 3 days before Christmas Eve 2024 she stopped eating and was extremely lethargic with shortness of breath.   After a visit to the vet X-rays showed she had an enlarged heart and lungs as well as a gray mass possibly cancer.    Vet said she would not recover and it would be a matter of days before she passed and she would be in a lot of pain. She was humanely euthanized that same morning.    kaley came to me as a stray in the summer of 2009 in Chicago.    She was truly my shadow, my soulmate and my little Tortie Princess.   The pain of her loss is overwhelming and I don’t know how I am going to get through this and that’s why I am here.

Epitaph

My Kaley baby you are gone but I feel your presence in all of the quiet. I will love you furever.
