Miss Kitty came to live with us after living with my parents since she was dropped off around their area (rural). She lived with them until my Dad’s passing in Dec 2024. He would always ask me what would happen to her when he was gone, and we promised him that we would take her in. And so we did.
We think she was either dropped off or escaped from someone’s house, cause she was spayed when she found my parents. This cat saved Dad after we lost Mom, and she is saving us now after we lost our soul cat.
If I were to show Dad his cat today, he would not know it was her. She has changed in so many ways. Before she came to live with us, she didn’t purr. Now she won’t stop! She eats people food. She sits on our chests whereas she would only lay on Dad’s lap. She gets along well with the rest of the family, which we didn’t know if that would happen.
