Bio
Roxy was our first dog and became my little velcro soulmate. She was silly, spicy and knew when her humans were sad, in pain or suffering. Like most pugs, she was food obsessed but kept in shape. She was the only pug that loved getting groomed and her nails cut (by her special grooming team). She has had a few health scares and always managed to pull through. When she passed away, I wasn’t prepared, as I thought she would do the same thing. But, at least the urgent vet was able to make her comfortable and she was surrounded by her favorite humans as we were there when she took her last breath. I knew this was going to hurt, but I had no idea just how much and how my life was so intertwined with hers. I still find myself prepping her meds, waking up at 5:30 am to walk her, but then I see her empty nook where she slept and I just am gutted all over again.
