Sascha was the funniest, sweetest, full of life cat I’ve ever known. She loved playing with wine corks, boxes, bags and her older Labradoodle brother, Mikey. It was always surprising what she would think up to do and she enjoyed being the Entertainer. Her zest for life was contagious and she taught me so much about love in the short time she shared with us. I am grateful and honored to have known her.

Bio

Sascha found me at an animal shelter in Oct. 2019. She seemed special from the very beginning; the right cat at the right time. This turned out to be perfectly true, since Covid hit soon after that and we needed entertaining, which she provided happily. It was such a joy to know her and she left us much too soon because of feline leukemia.

Epitaph

What a pleasure it was to know and love you, Sweet Sascha. You were my once in a lifetime of (many) cats and I will miss you always. You were goofy, adorable, friendly and irresistible. Anyone who met you was captivated and you shared your love freely, even winning over my very skeptical husband, who had never known a great cat before. Now he has, and understands. You have left a giant hole in our hearts and household and we will all miss you forever. Rest In Peace, Beautiful Girl.
