I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) with over twenty years’ counseling experience. I have a private practice in Concord, Massachusetts and Hampton, New Hampshire. Ive been very involved for many years with pet loss and bereavement counseling, working with clients who have either lost or are about to lose a companion or service animal.

My Labrador retriever, Killarney, was a registered therapy dog until her recent death. We both received training as Pet Partners through the Delta Society providing animal assisted therapy and activities to clients in hospitals and nursing homes. I’m also the proud owner of an adopted, retired racing greyhound named Marilyn. For many years I’ve been a volunteer with a greyhound rescue league, an active member of the ASPCA, the MSPCA, the Massachusetts Animal Coalition, and the Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement. Compassion and experience allows me to help others during their own loss.
