The decision to euthanize your pet is the most difficult decision a pet owner will have to make. XpectaVet can help make the entire process as easy as possible for both you and your pet. By coming to your home your pet can be in a familiar and loving place in its final moments. Saying good-bye to your long time friend should be a private and personal moment shared in the comfort of home. We want your pet to feel as peaceful as possible throughout the entire process. Many times people know that there is a special spot on the couch or a favorite corner that your their pet is the most happy. Whatever the circumstances we work with you to accommodate any special requests that can make your pet the most relaxed and at ease. We typically will give your pet a mild sedative to calm them prior to proceeding. After wards you will have as much time as you need with your pet before we transport them away for cremation or burial.

At-home pet euthanasia is the most compassionate way to say farewell to your friend. Although it is difficult to say goodbye we are here to help you through the entire process. If you are unsure if it is the right time for your friend we can help by providing a courtesy phone consultation with one of our vets to help you make the best decision possible. We also can provide hospice care for your pet to give them the best quality of life during their final days.

Full Circle Animal Health Care

Saying goodbye to a pet is like saying goodbye to a family member. After all, pets ARE members of the family. Full Circle Animal Health Care knows how difficult such a time is for pet owners, which is why we offer end-of-life care services. Our goal is to make your pet as comfortable as possible as they make the transition and to give you as much peace of mind as possible during their final moments.

If you suspect that your pet has reached the last stage of their life journey, Dr. Yeager can provide counseling over the phone, so we can discuss their condition/health status and quality of life. Then, she will set an appointment to come to your home to perform a physical examination prior to administering euthanasia. She will first use gentle sedation to relax your pet, which takes about 10-15 minutes, followed by the administration of the euthanasia solution. You may choose to be present in as much or as little of the procedure as you wish.

After the euthanasia is complete, you can opt to keep your pet for a burial or have them cremated. Full Circle Animal Health Care offers both burial and cremation services, for your convenience. If you prefer to bury your pet yourself, we can provide you with a list of pet cemeteries in the area.
