Angel Whiskers

After experiencing the loss of several beloved pets, I have found that the most powerful way of healing is to affirm and honor the bond with my pets in some tangible way. I began by reading poems and stories written by others who had also experienced this type of loss. In their poignant tributes I found an affirmation of my feelings. I also found that the sharing of this loss was very healing. The purpose of this anthology is to honor the bond with our beloved pets as a pathway to healing the pain of pet loss. Poets and writers throughout history have enjoyed the companionship and inspiration of cats and have penned these moving tributes. Perhaps you are reading this because you have recently lost a beloved cat, or you have a friend or family member whom you wish to comfort in their loss. In either case, may you find comfort, healing, and ultimately celebration of the lasting bond in this book.
