Pet Loss Support groups are a safe place that will provide a non-judgmental environment for individuals or family members to meet and share their emotions before or after the loss of a beloved pet.
These groups will provide a place to share your feelings with others who are going through or have gone through similar struggles. Here you will find validation and affirmation that you may not get from your family or friends who don’t understand what you are facing.
Many groups also welcome children. Please check with your local support group first to ensure that it is right for you.

Services available to residents of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. All services are provided virtually.
Virtual One on One and Family Support: I offer one on one support and family pet loss support sessions for those who want to process the complex and difficult feelings surrounding the loss of a pet. Pets are significant members of our families and there is no timeline on healing, no right or wrong way to grieve. I would love to work with you and honor your pet’s life.
Virtual Pet Loss Support Group:
Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is an incredibly tough experience. Join with other pet parents who are grieving to share experiences, find comfort in community, and learn to cope with life following the death of a loved one. This virtual group requires an 6-week commitment and I am now recruiting the next cohort for a late Summer/early Fall 2022 start.

People Magazine, the New York Times, London Podcasts, The Washington Post, Catster/Dogster Magazines, and others have recognized Animal Talks (a nonprofit, tax exempt animal charity) as a leader in the relatively new field of Pet Loss and Grief Counseling.
We have been blessed with the trust and belief placed in us by the many heartbroken people who come to us from across the country and abroad, for help in walking the lonely, painful journey of grief after losing their beloved animal companion to death.
Please reach out to me if you need help. You can see our robust and helpful Social Media postings on all Social Media platforms at @animaltalksinc And on our site, read what people have been kind enough to say about us. animaltalksinc.com can be a comforting place to listen to audio, see videos, read some inspiring poetry-and generally get to know us.
You’re not alone, although it deeply feels that way.
Blessing Always,
Kaleel
