Shadow

Bio

Shadow has now crossed over the Rainbow Bridge, as of 04/08/24 at 1607. (4:07 PM). She went very peacefully.

She had a great long, and loved life with me and Kenny over the last 14 years. She was 14 years and 8 months old, so she actually lived longer than anticipated. While we are both devastated at her passing, we have so many loved and cherished memories watching her as she grew up, and learning new skills and tricks through the years. She did not have to be on a leash, as she would stay with us in our yards, without anything else setup (no invisible fences, or anything like that.)

She had so many friends from Kenny’s old neighborhood and both of mine (several Pit Bulls, who loved her as much as she loved them), German Shepards, and several smaller dogs. She easily befriended most other pets. We took her to the dog park while we lived in Chantilly, but when we moved out to Shenandoah County, a dog park was not available unless we drove a great distance. So we would walk her up and down hills in our neighborhood frequently for exercise. Then we’d throw frisbees, balls, sticks, and whatever else she loved to chase. in the yards. After that, her friends would come over and they’d play and chase each other. We all got matching pajamas for Christmas in 2022, including hers, not that she was fond of wearing it, but she put up with it for me. LOL So she had a very full and loving life with us throughout the years.

Thank you again to Sharon, for allowing me to bring her to her forever home back in May 2010. Sharon blessed me with one of the best dogs I’ll ever know. She was a perfect fit! So thanks again and have a blessed day. Until we all meet our sweet girl again…. have
