Launch of APLB Story Project

The APLB is happy to announce the launch of our new project collecting heartwarming stories about people’s pets for publication on our website, in our quarterly newsletter, and on our Facebook page.

We know all too well that losing a pet is an incredibly difficult and heartbreaking experience. But the love and joy we share with our companion animals is beyond measure and it’s important to honour their memory by celebrating the time we spent together.

We know from our chatroom that it’s important for grieving pet parents to talk about their beloved companion animals and the love they shared.

We invite you to submit stories about your pets and your life together. The stories should be 300 words or less and be accompanied by a photo of your pet or you and your pet. Let’s celebrate the joy that our pets brought into our lives and keep their memories alive forever.

“We understand how much pets mean to their owners, and how difficult it can be to cope with the loss of a beloved furry friend,” said Colleen Rolland, President of the APLB. “Our new Story Project is a way for pet owners to honor the memory of their pets and share their experiences with others who have been through a similar loss.”

If you would like to participate, please email us at: yourstory@aplb.org and we’ll get back to you with the details.
