Bio
We rescued Murphie after our two elderly JRTs passed. She was a 10 year old JRT who had been given up because her family had a new baby she was resource guarding. We adopted her right before Covid hit. She became my soul mate and support through lock down. I had never had a dog like her. One night, while walking a few blocks from our house, on leash, a neighbour’s dog escaped his house and attacked us from behind. It took 4 adults to pull the dog off Murphie. It was a terrifying experience. Despite getting her to the vet and emergency surgery, Murphie died two days later from a trauma induced seizure. I am not sure I will ever recover from her loss.
